Dan Spadaro, M.A., LPC
Dan Spadaro, LPC brings over fifteen years of counseling experience to his practice. A graduate of Franciscan University, Dan received both his undergraduate (Theology 92) and graduate (Counseling 97) degrees from this Ohio institution.
Dan has worked as mental health counselor with families in Colorado since 1997 in a variety of settings: This includes experience in the psychiatric hospital setting, as well as residential treatment centers, and outpatient mental health offices. From 1999 to 2006, Dan volunteered with the Colorado Department of Corrections, to facilitate sexual addiction support groups for incarcerated men.
Dan founded Imago Dei Counseling, as a private practice dedicated to the integration of psychology and the Catholic faith and toward helping individuals and couples to rediscover their true image founded in God.
In addition to his formal training as a counselor, Dan also draws from his own personal experience of faith, family, and understanding of the battle for purity of heart.
Dan holds a certification as a Certified Sexual Addictions Therapist (CSAT) in 2009, having trained with Dr. Patrick Carnes.
Dan has been a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Colorado since 1999.
In 2006, Dan completed certification for adolescent disruptive behavior disorders as part of the Integrated Psychotherapy Consortium Training Institute with Columbia University.
Dan and his wife have five beautiful children and together enjoy the majesty of the Rocky Mountains.
